A wanted 53-year-old Stafford man who is a fan of "COPS" was quickly informed of the reality he got himself into Sunday afternoon, Oct. 29, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said. Deputy X.D. Bates responded to a home to serve Gary Melvin on a warrant of probation violation, but couldn't find Melvin at the home, Decatur said. After 32 seasons, one of the longest-running reality series ever is gone for good – not just from TV but online, as well. "COPS" has been permanently cancelled. "We don't have any current or future plans for it to return," the Paramount Network said in a statement.
