An investigation is underway after a local woman was seriously injured when her SUV rolled over her in a busy Stamford parking lot. The initial investigation revealed that Anne Wade, a 54-year-old Stamford resident, was entering her vehicle, which was parked in the lot at 15 High Ridge Rd., Stamford Police said. According to witnesses, Wade was having problems releasing her emergency brake before she exited her vehicle and was then somehow able to get the brake released, according to police. An 18-year-old from Norwalk surrendered to police in connection with a fatal 2018 crash that killed a motorcyclist in Stamford. Justin Foley surrendered himself to the Stamford Police Friday and was charged with misconduct with a motor vehicle following an investigation into the Sept. 23, 2018 crash, said Stamford Police Sgt. A 22-year-old man driving without a motorcycle license has been charged with reckless driving in connection with a Memorial Day crash in which he T-boned a van. Stamford Police have charged a work van driver with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Lynette Wagner, of Fairfield, while she was walking across Elm Street on her way to work in January.
