'Mom Won't Wake Up:' 4-Year-Old Found Near Drugs, In Poor Living Conditions, PWC Police Say
A Prince William County mom was charged with child neglect after her 4-year-old son told a neighbor that she wouldn't wake up, and police found drugs and the child in poor living conditions, authorities said.
Fire & Rescue personnel forced entry into 26-year-old Gillian Nicolette Singstock's home, to find her awake in her Greenaacre Drive home in Woodbridge, around 9:40 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, county police said.
There, they found the boy and his mom in poor living conditions, and drugs near the child, who appeared to be unharmed, authorities said.

A 40-year-old Virginia woman has been arrested for leaving a baby and dog in a hot car for nearly six hours, where both died.
Kristen Danielle Graham, of Seaford, had been caring for the child — whose mom is 17 years old — for two days, York County Sheriff Ron Montgomery said.
Around 1 a.m. on Sept. 12, Graham went to bring cigarettes to a friend caring for an elderly man in Newport News, Montgomery said. Maryland Mom's Illegally-Parked Car Towed From Pentagon City Mall With Kids Inside
A Maryland mother whose illegally-parked vehicle was towed from outside of an Arlington mall with her children inside is facing charges, officials said.
Chaukina Thomas, 26, of Suitland, emerged "hysterical" from the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Tuesday morning, Sept. 5 "hysterical," thinking her car had been stolen, according to NBC Washington and Arlington County spokeswoman Ashley Savage.
Savage's vehicle was not stolen, but in fact towed, as she'd parked it in a no parking zone, Savage said. Responding officers learned this tidbit and the towing company was contacted. …
