A woman suffered a serious head injury after her SUV crashed through a guard rail and fence, then dropped more than a dozen feet behind a car wash in Fair Lawn, according to incident reporter Boyd A. Loving. The crash happened around 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, behind the car wash at 22-40 Maple Avenue. The driver of a white, late-model Honda CRV accidentally drove through a wooden guard rail and chain link fence at the back of the property. 2 Cars Collide, Cause Damage At Car Wash In Mahopac
A car wash in Putnam County will have to make repairs after a two-car crash sent vehicles into its parking lot, knocking over poles. The crash happened on Tuesday, May 13 at around 11:20 a.m. in front of the Iguana Wanna Carwash at the intersection of Route 6 and Baldwin Lane in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department. Photos of the damage released by fire officials showed that the crash caused poles in the business's parking lot to fall over. One person was taken to a hospital to be evaluated, firefighters said.

Car Wash Employee Killed After Struck By Vehicle: New Brunswick PD
A 54-year-old employee at Trax Car Crash in New Brunswick was killed after he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, April 22, authorities said. At 1:15 p.m., a vehicle driven by an 81-year-old woman accelerated while entering the tunnel portion of the car wash on Route 18 and struck Enrique Barahona and the tunnel structure, New Brunswick police said. Barahona, a New Brunswick resident, sustained fatal injuries while two other employees sustained minor injuries, police said. The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
