Norwalk Carjacking Suspects On Run
Police in Fairfield County are searching for two armed suspects who allegedly carjacking one person and attempted a second but were deterred. The first carjacking occurred in Norwalk around 5 a.m. Thursday, March 28, on Westport Avenue. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, two men armed with a gun stole a BMW X3 from the owner. A short time later the suspects attempted another carjacking at the intersection Dry Hill Road and Westport Avenue, Podgorski said. Frantic Father Runs Down Street After Car Thief Who Fled With His Young Son In Back Seat
A man who left his car running after he got out to use the ATM at his bank watched in horror as a thief slid behind the wheel and sped off with his 11-year-old son in the back seat, police in Tenafly, NJ said. The frightened father dashed out of the Chase Bank vestibule and grabbed the driver’s door handle of his Audi A8 -- but was knocked to the ground as the thief sped off on Central Avenue shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, April 3, Capt. PA Resident Dies In NJ Turnpike Crash
A Pennsylvania resident died Monday in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. The driver of a BMW X3 was traveling west in the left lane near milepost 0.9 in Florence Township (Burlington County) around 12:40 a.m. when he struck the center barrier, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. One of the rear passengers, Manjulaben Suresh Patel, 67, of Willow Grove, PA died. The driver and three other passengers were not seriously injured. The crash remains under investigation.

A 14-year-old boy was seized in Hackensack after two vehicles were stolen in Teaneck within less than a half hour of one another Thursday night. Authorities were looking for another boy, 15, who was with him. Both are repetitive delinquents known to police. : Crew In Luxury Car Robbed Man In Newark, Police Say
The Newark Police Department is asking the public's help locating the people who took part in a robbery of a man Aug. 30. The victim was in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 8 p.m. when a BMW X3 pulled up and two males got out, demanding the victim's valuables at gunpoint.
