Two DC men who used assault rifles to rob armored Brinks trucks in broad daylight — then bragged about it online — are headed to prison for decades, federal officials announced.
William Brock, 33, and Anthony Antwon McNair, Jr., 36, were sentenced to 47.5 years and 31.5 years in federal prison, respectively, for their roles in a violent series of Brinks armored car robberies that took place across the region between 2021 and 2022.

A 50-year-old New Jersey ex-convict is facing multiple charges after police responding to a call for service found assault rifles, high-capacity magazines, and more stashed in safes in the home, authorities said.
Bloomingdale officers had responded to a local home on Sept. 19, when they discovered two safes, " which officers reasonably believed contained illegal firearms," the department said in a news release.
