A toddler was bitten after entering a restricted area near a wolf exhibit at ZooAmerica, police announced on Sunday, April 5. The incident happened in Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, at approximately 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, according to Derry Township police. Investigators say a 17-month-old child slipped through a small opening in a wooden perimeter fence and reached the primary metal enclosure at the wolf exhibit. A 55-year-old Pennsylvania mom is out of the hospital after a bear attack in her own backyard, she told Daily Voice. Lee Ann Galante was letting her dog out of the backdoor of her home on Bellefield Drive, Butler Township at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, and unknown to her there were three cubs in a tree — that's when the mama bear attacked, as Daily Voice initially reported. A local man got a big surprise while taking a routine walk with his dog in northern Fairfield County.
