A murder-for-hire plot targeting three people in New York was stopped after the would-be hitman went to police, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele announced Wednesday, Feb. 11.
Eric Berkowitz, 41, of Dresher in Upper Dublin Township, is charged with three counts of Criminal Solicitation for Murder, three counts of Attempted Murder, three counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Person Not to Possess a Firearm, according to the DA’s Office.
