: Sedan Crashes Off Route 17
A sedan flew over a guardrail on Route 17, sending its driver to the hospital. The 2013 BMW ended up in a wooded area just past a bus shelter on the southbound side near Sheridan Avenue in Waldwick shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, Police Lt. Troy Seifert said. Waldwick firefighters freed the 48-year-old driver from Newark, who suffered a suspected head injury, the lieutenant said. He was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by members of the Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Police Ask Public For Info On Fatal Shooting Of 18-Year-Old In Suffolk County
Authorities are asking the public for help identifying and locating the person or people who fatally shot an 18-year-old on Long Island two years ago. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers said Jaifield Gordon was shot on Judith Drive in Coram on Sept. 1, 2019. Officers located Gordan at about 12:40 a.m. inside of a 2013 BMW that had crashed into a parked vehicle and fence in front of 55 Beach Drive. An alert was issued by police investigators on Long Island who are attempting to identify and locate a woman who allegedly stole hundreds of dollars worth of groceries from an area Stop & Shop location earlier this month. Police said that a woman (pictured above) stole multiple packages of frozen shrimp from Stop & Shop on Jericho Turnpike in East Northport on Wednesday, June 16 before fleeing the scene in a white 2013 BMW.
