ATMs Unavailable At All PA Turnpike Service Plazas
Motorists traveling along the Pennsylvania Turnpike will find themselves without access to cash at service plazas, as all ATMs are currently out of service, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced on Wednesday, Nov. 27. The issue stems from an unforeseen problem with the Turnpike's service provider, which is beyond the commission's control, according to the announcement. The outage is expected to affect all service plazas across the system until further notice. The PA Turnpike apologized for the inconvenience and thanked travelers for their understanding.

$25.8M Resurfacing Project Scheduled For Nearly 80 Miles Of These Long Island Roadways
Nearly 80 miles of two of Long Island’s most heavily traveled roadways will be resurfaced, according to officials. On Thursday, June 15, Gov. Kathy Hochul and the New York State Department of Transportation announced that a $25.8 million project to resurface key parts of the Northern State Parkway and Northern Boulevard would begin the week of June 19. NY State Announces Completion Of I-84 Paving Project
A multi-million dollar resurfacing project along one of the Hudson Valley’s busiest stretches of I-84 has been completed. The New York State Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday, Dec. 8 that an $11 million project to resurface a 7.7-mile stretch of the interstate between Dutchess and Putnam counties has been completed. Construction crews began the I-84 project in the spring and it was expedited during the COVID-19 pandemic and finished ahead of schedule.
