Water Rescue Underway At Speedwell Forge Lake In Lancaster County (Developing) Emergency crews are responding to an active water rescue at Speedwell Forge Lake in Elizabeth Township, Lancaster County, on Monday, June 1. The call came into Lancaster County-Wide Communications at approximately 12:26 p.m. for a water rescue at the lake, according to emergency dispatchers. First responders were sent to the area of Zartman Mill and Evans roads. The circumstances surrounding the rescue have not been released. It remains unclear whether anyone was injured.
