Elementary Student Hospitalized After Shooting Near PA Home: Officials
An elementary school student was hospitalized after a shooting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to officials with the School District of Lancaster on Friday, Nov. 15. The Elizabeth R. Martin Elementary School student was shot near their home Wednesday, Principal Tom Mumma explained in an email to staff and families on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 14. The age and gender of the student were not shared, nor was the location of the shooting. The child is expected to recover, according to Mumma. Death Of 7-Month-Old Under Investigation In Riverhead
An investigation is under way after a 7-month-old died on Long Island. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting that the baby at a Riverhead residence, on 3rd Street, was unconscious and not breathing. CPR was performed, but the infant was pronounced dead at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead. Riverhead Town PD detectives and the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the circumstances that led to the child's death.
