Contamination Concern Prompts Fruit Recall
A fruit recall is affecting shoppers in several Northeast states after testing raised concerns about possible contamination. Mamaroneck, New York-based Panorama Produce is recalling 302 boxes of Martina-brand mangoes that were distributed in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and sold at select Walmart stores, according to a company announcement posted by the US Food and Drug Administration. A New York woman has filed a class action lawsuit against Cold Stone Creamery, claiming that the company falsely advertised a number of its flavors. The lawsuit, filed by Nassau County resident Jenna Marie Duncan, may soon move to court, according to documents.
