Commuters discovered flyers on their cars this week informing them that the Farmingdale LIRR parking lots will be closed from Thursday, Sept. 18, through Monday, Sept. 29, to accommodate the Ryder Cup. Here's How Many Volunteers Are Working This Week's PGA Championship At Bethpage
Thousands of men and women of all size, shapes and ages are busy this week working long hours as the championship rounds start at the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black. In total, approximately 3,600 volunteers will work various jobs at the course, while the likes of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson hit the links and vie for the second major of the season.
