Two Long Island men are facing charges after separate child sexual abuse material investigations, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, April 20.
James G. Fisk, 68, of Port Jefferson, was arrested after members of the Troop L Computer Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at his residence on April 9, according to state police.
The investigation led to the recovery of sexual material involving children, resulting in Fisk being charged with five counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, authorities said.

A Long Island man has been arrested after authorities say he was found to be in possession of a large amount of child pornography.
On Monday, Sept. 11, 70-year-old Ridge resident Dominick Umbrino was arrested on multiple child pornography charges, New York State Police announced.
The arrest came after Umbrino was investigated by multiple agencies, including the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), Computer Crimes Unit (CCU), and more.

A registered sex offender on Long Island is facing new charges after being busted with child pornography during a routine check by probation officers, police said.
In Suffolk County, Mastic Beach resident Keith Schoelermann, age 29, a Level 2 sex offender, was arrested on Thursday, May 19 at his home after being busted during a search of his cellphone.
According to police, probation officers located an unregistered cellphone during the routine check, which contained child pornography, violating his probation.
