Jet Skiers Rescued After Craft Runs Aground Near Massapequa: Police
Two men were rescued after their jet ski became disabled near Little Goose Island in Massapequa, Nassau County police announced on Tuesday, June 2. The incident happened at approximately 8:27 p.m. when 911 received a report of a jet skier in distress near the island, according to Nassau County Police. Nassau County Aviation Helicopter 6, Nassau County Marine 6, and Town of Oyster Bay Constables responded to the scene, police said.
