Measles At Sold-Out Shakira Concert: Exposure Linked To MetLife Show, NJ Health Department Says
If you danced the night away at Shakira’s MetLife concert last week, health officials say you may have brought home more than just memories. According to the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), a non-New Jersey resident with a confirmed case of measles attended the MetLife Stadium concert while infectious. The DOH sent out an alert for concertgoers who were at the venue on Thursday, May 15, from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Friday, May 16. Shakira’s taking over MetLife for two nights next week — and tickets are vanishing fast. Especially for the Thursday night, May 15 show, the first of two nights for Shak's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in New Jersey. But the good news is that there are some seats that are $33 a piece. Train Like Celebs: New Dance Fitness Studio AKT Opens In Morristown
A dance-based fitness studio frequented by dozens of celebrities is making its way to Morris County. AKT, founded by renowned trainer and choreographer Anna Kaiser, is open on E. Hanover Avenue in Morristown. A grand opening weekend Jan. 24 through 26 will offer free classes and discounted memberships, as well as an appearance by Kaiser, who will teach some of the classes.
