A Lancaster father and a woman who served as custodian on his teenage son’s bank account are accused of stealing over $46,000 set aside for the teen’s college and car, according to a police affidavit obtained by Daily Voice on Thursday, May 29.
Matthew R. Davis, 48, and Shelley L. Davis, 45, were charged with two counts each of felony theft by unlawful taking and felony criminal conspiracy after an investigation revealed a years-long scheme involving a custodial bank account in the teen’s name.
