Mother, Daughter Lied After Fatal Jersey City Crash: Prosecutor A mother and a daughter were arrested and charged on Tuesday, April 1, after they lied about a fatal crash in Jersey City last year that killed a 43-year-old motorcyclist. On Thursday, Oct. 31, at 8:55 a.m., Jersey City police responded to a motorcycle crash at Sip Avenue and Routes 1 and 9, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.  The motorcyclist, Steven Brown, was injured after he collided with a GMC vehicle at the intersection, Suarez said. Severed Remains Case: ID Released For Male Victim From Yonkers For the first time, police have publicly named the second of two murder victims whose dismembered remains were found strewn across Long Island. In an update to the case on Friday, March 22, Suffolk County Police identified the male victim as 53-year-old former Westchester County resident Malcolm Brown, whose last known address is in Yonkers.
