Worker Hospitalized In Fall From Ladder In Hackensack: Police
A worker was hospitalized after falling from a ladder Tuesday morning, June 3 in Hackensack, police said. The incident happened just after 9 a.m. at 100 River St., where the worker fell 8 to 10 feet, Police Chief Michael Antista said. He was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, Antista said. OSHA has been notified. Editor's note: Police initially told Daily Voice that the worker was unconscious and fell 22 feet but later corrected themselves, saying the worker was conscious and fell 8 to 10 feet.

A man died after falling 25 feet from a roof at the Utz Potato Factory in Hanover, York County officials announced on Friday, May 2. The fall was reported to York County 911 at 8:35 a.m. from the factory located at 900 High Street, according to the Office of Emergency Management. The 21-year-old woman who was pulled from the Susquehanna River after her car was found running on a Lancaster County bridge has been identified as Katelyn King of Gap, Pennsylvania, the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office announced on Tuesday, March 4. King was transported to Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital after being rescued from the river, but she did not survive, officials said. Man Hospitalized After Falling From Hotel Balcony On Long Island
A man is recovering from serious injuries after falling from a hotel balcony on Long Island. It happened early Monday, May 23, in Hauppauge at the Hyatt Regency Long Island on Motor Parkway. Suffolk County Police said New Jersey resident Alexander Keating, age 24, of South Amboy in Middlesex County, was on a ninth-floor balcony at around 12:45 a.m. when he fell over a railing.
