Wanted Men Found With Gun, Meth In Rideshare Vehicle In Atlantic City: Police
Two wanted men were arrested after being accused of having a gun and methamphetamine in a rideshare vehicle in Atlantic City, authorities said. Atlantic City police responded to a report of an armed man on the 2800 block of Pacific Avenue on Friday, June 28, the department said in a news release. An officer found 40-year-old Matthew Murphy of Egg Harbor Township and 47-year-old Nathaniel Rodgers of Atlantic City entering a rideshare vehicle. 19: Bergen County District Reports Additional Positive Case
An individual at a Bergen County high school tested positive for COVID-19, making this at least the fifth case in the district in the last five weeks. The individuals at Ramsey High School tested positive on Monday, NorthJersey.com reports citing Superintendent Matthew Murphy. The individual was not in contact with any other students, staff or faculty members, and was not in the school since last Thursday, Murphy said. The case does not impact the high school's schedule. 19: Bergen County Middle School To Stay Open After Additional Case Reported
An individual at a Bergen County middle school who had been quarantining due to a known COVID-19 exposure tested positive for the virus, officials said. The Eric S. Smith Middle School in Ramsey will stay open after the individual tested positive on a rapid test Oct. 31, district officials said. The borough's health officer and contact tracers have been notified. The individual had not been in the school since Oct. 27, Ramsey Schools Superintendent Matthew Murphy said. Ramsey Schools reported four positive cases of COVID-19 last month, including one at the Eric S. Smith Middle School.

19: Bergen County District Reports 4 New Cases
Four new COVID-19 cases were reported this week in a single Bergen County school district. A letter sent to Ramsey parents Monday said schools will remain open despite three cases at Hubbard Elementary School and one was from Eric Smith Middle School, NorthJersey.com reports.
