Two Newark women were killed when a tractor-trailer overturned onto their car on Interstate 78 in Newark Tuesday morning, Aug. 25, authorities said.
Ayesha Wright, 42, and her passenger, Kendra Rouse, 25, were killed in the crash on the eastbound local lanes at milepost 56.8, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.

After more than four years of construction delays, detours, and commuter frustration, a long-troubled bridge in Westchester is finally set to fully reopen.
The Ardsley Road bridge, a key connector between the river villages of Greenburgh and Central Avenue and Scarsdale, will reopen on Friday, Nov. 21, Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said on Wednesday night, Nov. 19.
