Driver Hospitalized After Sedan Slams Into Pole In Glen Rock A senior driver suffered a severe leg injury when her sedan slammed into a utility pole Tuesday afternoon in Glen Rock. Borough police and EMS workers tended to the victim after her Toyota Corolla rammed the pole on Prospect Street near Saddle River Park. She was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center by members of the Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the village's Fire Rescue team. Toddler's Death Ruled Homicide By Assault In DC, Police Say The death of a Southwest DC toddler has been ruled a homicide after authorities say evidence points to an assault. Cops were called around 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18 to the unit block of Atlantic Street on a report of an unconscious child, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Responding officers found an unresponsive 2-year-old boy, who was rushed to an area hospital by EMS workers.
