It happened shortly before 2:40 a.m. Thursday, May 1, on southbound Route 301 at Sadie Lane in La Plata. According to investigators, a gray Infiniti was stopped in the middle of the road when it was rear-ended by a blue Nissan Rogue, driven by Virginia resident Africa Violet, 45. Shooting Suspects Apprehended After Multi-County Pursuit In St. Mary's: Sheriff Four people were taken into custody following a multi-county pursuit in Southern Maryland following a shooting in St. Mary's County.  Shortly before midnight, deputies from the sheriff's office were called to investigate a reported shooting in the 45000 block of Breezy Lane in Hollywood, where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound in the area.
