At 7:27 am., officers and firefighters responded to the motel at 2035 Route 35 after the roof partially collapsed due to the recent severe weather in the area, Wall Township police said. Beachwood Firefighter Dies: Remembering Joseph Diehl Joseph Diehl, a longtime firefighter in Ocean County died recently, the Beachwood Fire Department announced Wednesday, July 8. Diehl graduated the Ocean County Fire Academy in 1998 and served in Beachwood from 1998 to 2008 and helped run the department's Poker Run fundraiser. Two PA Residents Busted For Home Invasion In North Wildwood: Police Two Pennsylvania residents were arrested and charged after a violent home invasion in North Wildwood on Monday, July 6, authorities said. Officers responded to the 300 block of JFK Boulevard after two people, Joseph Lyon, a 40-year-old Bensalem resident and Megan Soley, a 47-year-old Levittown resident, forcibly entered an occupied motel unit by kicking in the door and assaulted occupants inside, North Wildwood police said.
