A vehicle fire spread to a Maryland townhouse Tuesday evening, prompting a second alarm response and displacing three adults, officials said. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews were dispatched at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, to the 20800 block of Gaelic Court in Germantown for a reported vehicle fire, according to spokesperson David Pazos. Improperly discarded smoking materials were to blame for a massive, nearly $1 million, two-alarm fire in Virginia that left a family displaced. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews were called at around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22, to the 6200 block of Levi Court in Springfield, where there was a reported townhouse fire, officials said.
