The Prince George's County Police Department is denouncing "car meets" after a 26-year-old man was killed in a double shooting early on Sunday morning that left another injured. Waldorf resident John Phipps has been identified by investigators as the person who was shot and killed inside a vehicle during a purported car meet over the weekend, police say.
