A Maryland woman is facing charges across state lines after allegedly giving police a fake identity during a DUI traffic stop that exposed drugs, a stolen gun, and an improperly restrained child, authorities said.
The 36-year-old from Bel Air was a passenger during a traffic stop in Leipsic, Delaware, on Sunday, May 3, at approximately 7:45 a.m., when troopers spotted multiple violations and pulled over a Chevrolet Tahoe.
The stop quickly escalated when troopers saw an unrestrained and improperly seated child inside the vehicle, Delaware State Police said.
