A masked gunman robbed a man outside a Bergen County business over the summer before fleeing in a car displaying a bogus temporary New Jersey registration tag, authorities said.
The victim had arrived at a business on Lanza Avenue around 6:51 a.m. Monday, June 22, and was getting out of his car when the armed suspect approached, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

A Brick Township man accused of helping a Toms River murder suspect evade authorities has surrendered, officials said.
Ronald Hagan, 50, surrendered to the Toms River Township Police Department in the presence of his attorney Monday morning, Sept. 28, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Hagan was charged with hindering the apprehension of another on Thursday, Sept. 24, in connection with the search for Douglas Cobb, 51, of Toms River, authorities said. Cobb is charged with murdering Bruce Gress, 42, of Toms River, on Friday, Sept. 18, in Toms River, Billhimer said.

DWI Driver Strikes Marlboro Officer Directing Traffic, Police Say
A special police officer suffered a head injury after being struck by an alleged drunk driver while directing traffic at the Jersey Shore, authorities said.
The Marlboro officer was directing traffic near a disabled vehicle at Route 520 and Tennent Road around 7:28 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, when a white 2023 Audi Q7 struck them, Marlboro Township Police Capt. Jonathan Gramcko said.
The officer was taken by EMS to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for treatment of a head injury, police said.
