American Dream Shoplifting Bust Ends With Injury, Warrant: Police
A suspected $430 shoplifting at Alo inside American Dream ended with a struggle with troopers and the discovery of an outstanding warrant, authorities said.
New Jersey State Police responded to the East Rutherford mall around 8:08 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, on a report of shoplifting at the clothing store, State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said.
Freddy Brown, 39, of New York City, stole approximately $430 worth of merchandise, Lebron said. Troopers attempted to arrest Brown, but he resisted apprehension, according to Lebron.

Karl R. Heideck, 45, of Jenkintown, PA, was charged with fourth-degree cyber-harassment following an investigation by the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office and Newton police, Sussex County Prosecutor Daniel M. Perez announced Wednesday, Sept. 9.
