'Professional, Polite, Helpful:' Dedham Mourns Death Of Active Duty Firefighter Multiple communities are mourning the sudden death of an active duty firefighter from a car crash earlier this month. He was 59.  Acting Lieutenant Christopher Clark died from his injuries sustained in a car crash on Sunday, Feb. 5, his obituary reads.  Born in Boston, Clark attended Wentworth Institute of Technology after high school to earn his plumber’s license. However, Clark fell into the line of duty and came to Dedham Fire after leaving Hull Fire in 1992, Dedham Firefighters Local 1735 said on Facebook.  Clark was a longtime member of Group 2, Engine 3 and was promoted to Acting Li…
