Diehard Eagles Fan Killed In Wrong-Way Trenton Crash Mourned David Rivera, a 53-year-old Philadelphia resident was killed in a crash in Trenton Friday morning, Sept. 11, according to a GoFundMe set up to support his family. Rivera was killed by a drunk driver while driving home from work, Dana Razon, who organized the fundraiser said. Law enforcement has only said the crash remains under investigation. DWI Driver Arrested After Vehicle Overturns: Denville PD A 27-year-old Denville man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle overturned in a crash on Friday, Sept. 11, authorities said. At 10:42 p.m., officers responded to Old Boonton Road and found a vehicle overturned in the front yard of a house, Denville police said. The driver, Jonathan Monaco, was outside of the vehicle. An investigation determined Monaco was under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and reckless driving, police said.

At 755 p.m., troopers responded to a crash on Route 80 west after a Nissan SUV lost directional control and struck the back of a marked Ford SUV troop vehicle and the side of an Infiniti car, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for New Jersey State Police said. Non-life threatening injuries were reported, Lebron said. The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.
