Amazon is expanding its same-day deliveries to include fresh produce, meat, dairy, and other grocery staples.
Thousands of perishable items have been added to Amazon's Same-Day Delivery service, the company announced in a news release on Wednesday, Aug. 13. The rollout covers more than 1,000 US cities and towns, with a target of more than 2,300 by the end of 2025.

A new 24-hour-a-day supermarket is opening in the Hudson Valley, focusing on everything fresh.
The Garden Fresh Market, located in Rockland County in Spring Valley, will have its soft opening on Wednesday, Oct. 23, and its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 26, said owner Wilson Bermeo of New City.
This will be the fourth supermarket for Bermeo, who immigrated from Ecuador in 1995 to live the American Dream.
