Driver Injured In Route 519 Mercedes Crash in White Twp: Njsp A person was injured in a crash on Route 519 in Warren County Wednesday, Sept. 9, authorities said. At 5:07 p.m., troopers responded to Route 519 south in White Township after a Mercedes-Benz vehicle traveling south crossed over the double yellow line into the northbound travel lane and struck a Subaru SUV head-on, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State police said. The driver of the Subaru sustained moderate injuries and was transported to an area hospital, Lebron said.  The crash remains under investigation, Lebron said.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle: Hillsborough PD A 52-year-old Whitehouse man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Hillsborough Thursday, Sept. 10, authorities said. At 5:44 a.m., officers responded to Roycefield Road after a driver was parking his car next to a building when he struck Vernon Mclaughlin, Hillsborough police said. McLaughlin was found unresponsive and transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
