It is primary day in Chappaqua and the rest of the Town of New Castle. The only contested election is for the post of Republican County Committee, for which three candidates are vyingThey are: Aleksandras Sepkus, a jewelery designer; Richard E. Henzel, described in campaign contribution documents as a self-employed musician; and John R. Ehrlich, president of Ehrlich Media, who is listed on his LinkedIn page as a Rotary Club executive and member of the Town of New Castle Downtown Steering Committee.
Michael B. Kaplowitz, a lawyer and certified financial planner, is on the ballot in District 4 as the incumbent for Westchester County Legislator. Kaplowitz has represented the district, which includes portions of New Castle, Somers and Yorktown, since 1998 according to the County Board of Legislators website, westchesterlegislators.com. Kaplowitz, who's running on the Democratic line is facing an Independence Party challenge by Yorktown Councilman Terrence Murphy (R-C Yorktown) as a write-in candidate.

Kisco, NYDistricts 8 and 13: Horace Greeley High School, 70 Roaring Brook Road, Chappaqua.Districts 10, 11 and 14: Westorchard Elementary School, 25 Granite Rd., Chappaqua.
