According to St. John’s Riverside Hospital, attendees can engage with stroke experts, check out special guest appearances, pick up free stroke education materials, and enter raffle giveaways.
The hospital encourages residents to bring friends, family, and colleagues to the program.
A key focus is on learning to recognize the warning signs using B.E.F.A.S.T.: Balance, Eyes, Face Drooping, Arm Weakness, Speech Difficulty, and Time to Call 911.
