WILTON, Conn. The Danbury Road repaving project, originally scheduled to finish Sept. 17, has been pushed back a second week because of an issue with the contractor.
Wilton Police Capt. John Lynch said contractor Tilcon ran into a problem and could not meet its commitment in town this week.
"They expect to finish up next Monday through Wednesday," said Lynch.
In mid-August, the Connecticut Department of Transportation announced its milling and repaving project from about a quarter-mile south of the Wilton-Norwalk border to about a half-mile north of Westport Road, or Route 33, would take place overnight for about 30 days.
