Wilton School Transforms for Carnival

Some kids dislike going to school Monday through Friday. But on Saturday, parents had no problem getting their children to go Miller-Driscoll for the school’s annual Winter Carnival.

The hallways and gymnasium of Miller-Driscoll were filled with games, arts and crafts, athletic competitions and much more as the kids ran through the school collecting prizes and tokens from each event. There was also a silent auction that featured items donated and made by the school’s students.

The Winter Carnival began as a fundraiser for Miller School PTA and later became a combined event for the PTA’s of both schools. Now that the two have been unified, the tradition continued Saturday.

The booths were run by Miller-Driscoll parents and by students from Middlebrook and Wilton High School.
