The Wilton High School tennis team huddles to stay out of puddles Tuesday as rain ruined the plans for practice. "It is going to be a running practice," said Austin Schaefer, varsity tennis co-captain. "It stinks because it means that we are running up and down a hill a couple of times."
Not having practice on the courts Tuesday eliminates one more day to fine-tune the teams' tennis before its match against Westhill on Thursday.
"The match on Thursday is one that can go either way," said Schaefer. Schaefer also said the varsity team needs to win this upcoming match for a better chance to make the state championship.
