The Wilton Chamber of Commerce will hold its 15th Annual Chamber Golf Classic on May 23 at Newtowns Rock Ridge Country Club. The title sponsor will be the accounting firm of Reynolds & Rowella, which has supported the tournament for the past 15 years.
The Golf Classic is about much more than just golf, Frank Rowella says in a press release. Its about giving back to the business community. This is always a great opportunity for us. Were privileged to continue the tradition of being the title sponsor of this terrific event.
This is a major fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce, with the proceeds going toward its community initiatives, including the scholarship fund.
The best ball/scramble style outing will have a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch.
The registration fee of $175 per player includes green fees, a cart, the afternoon buffet, cocktails, dinner in the clubhouse and prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin. Participants could also win a Nissan Juke from Bruce Bennett Nissan for a hole in one. The foursome with the lowest score will win the Wilton Cup and automatic entry into next years tournament.
There are sponsorship opportunities still available, including several hole sponsorships, the release says. The classic often sells out, so early reservations are suggested.
