The Wilton High's boys lacrosse team defeated New Canaan on Saturday, 12-2, to win the Class M state championship. It was Wilton's first state title since 2004 and its fifth in Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference tournament play.
The Warriors' roster includes Conor Johnson, Michael Basile, Michael Francia, Charles Fields, Robert Marino, Connor Devane, Alex Pagliaro, Sam Somers, Michael Greco, Michael Serpa, William McGroarty, Pat Holland, Brendan Chapey, Alexander Hayes, Connor Melillo, Chris Nugent, Robert Keers, Brian Bottini, Andrew Sudano, David Burns, Michael Slaughter, Thomas Hayes, Henry Hunter Lee, Matt Kobyra, Cole Rance, Sean Carroll, Williams Walker Harris, Graham Parson, Michael Burns, Luke Reyes-Guerra-Dunn, Matthew Reyes-Guerra-Dunn, Dylan Miller, Stefan LaMonte, Eduardo White, Ted Ottens, William Kelley, Bo Winsor, Ryan Delisso and Nicholas Wells. The team is coached John Wiseman.
