At 9:01 p.m., William Wright was driving a Ford SUV east on I-195 when he lost directional control of the car and struck a Ford SUV, then struck a Toyota SUV, Caitlin Brennan said.
During the crash, both Fords overturned and Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were injured in the crash and transported to a nearby hospital, Brennan said.
The crash remains under investigation, Brennan said.
