Therapists, advocates, educators and doctors will all be on hand to help families learn about the services available to them.
The fair is free and open to all communities.
“Special needs students and their parents often find that it is a struggle to get the support and help they need, both inside and outside of school,” Caroline Furry, White Plains PTA Special Needs Committee said in a statement. “As the special needs community continues to grow, it’s essential to bring together parents, educators and services providers to ensure students have an opportunity to get the support they need to succeed. The resource fair will give parents an opportunity to meet face to face with more than 40 specialists and get an understanding of the resources available to them and their children.”
