PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Here's a rundown of what's happening this week in and around the city:
MONDAY
- The Field Library will have a Teacher in the Library session from 4-6 p.m. where students can get help with their homework. At 4:30 there will be a meeting of the Jr. Critics book club for grades 5-7.
- The Committee of the Whole meeting will be held 6:30 p.m. in the Paul Schwerman Conference Room at Peekskill City Hall. A Common Council meeting will be held immediately afterwards at 7:30 p.m. in the upstairs Common Council Chambers.
TUESDAY
- The Field Library will have a Teacher in the Library session from 4-6 p.m. where students can get help with their homework. At 4:30 there will be a meeting of the Check It Out Book Club for grades 3-4.
WEDNESDAY
- The Hendrick Hudson School District Board of Education will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. at Hendrick Hudson High School.
THURSDAY
- At 12 Grapes Jon Cobert takes the stage to perform an eclectic mix of pop/rock covers as well as original tunes starting at 8 p.m. Admission is free for patrons.
- The Birdsall House will host Mark Sinnis starting at 10 p.m. Admission is free.
