Conjunto Sazon at BeanRunner Cafe: 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Group is inspired by the music of Cuba and Puerto Rico. The band is a small conjunto with a huge sound and identifies with the rhythms and melodies of the Caribbean: Salsa, Son, Rumba, Bomba, Plena as well as Meringue. Admission is $10. The Blues Dogs at 12 Grapes: 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. A special night awaits when Rhonda Denet teams with The Blues Dogs. The chemistry is amazing, and the vocals superb, backed by blues harp, sax and flute. Admission is a $5 entertainment fee for all, including diners. 12 Grapes, 12 N. Division St.

15th Annual Peekskill Open Studios: Noon to 5 p.m. Peekskills expanding creative community will again open its studios and performance spaces to host a weekend of more than 100 visual and performing artists, with 15 special exhibitions in galleries and a crafts fair. The Riverkeeper Sweep on the Peekskill Waterfront: All day. Riverkeeper invites volunteers to organize cleanups and other service projects throughout the Hudson River region. For more information or to participate at this Peekskill Waterfront cleanup, contact site leader Brian Brown at [email protected]. From 3 to 7 p.m. Riverkeeper will also be hosting a celebration of the day's accomplishments in Ossining.
"A Bag of Hammers" at The Paramount: 5 p.m. The film revolves around the friendship of two charming grifters, Ben and Alan, played by Jason Ritter and Jake Sandvig. The film is not rated and general admission is $9. The Paramount, 1008 Brown St.
Ted Daniels, IBMC, and the King Oliver Project at BeanRunner Café: 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Ted Daniel has performed and recorded with such music greats as Sonny Sharrock, Archie Shepp, Dewey Redman, Andrew Cyrille, Sam Rivers, Billy Bang and Henry Threadgill. "I Vespri Siciliani" at The Paramount: 1 p.m. The opera weaves military intrigue with a tale of doomed love between a French Dutchess and a Sicilian rebel. Verdis score is sung by Maria Agresti, Gregory Kunde and Franco Vassallo, with Gianandrea Noseda at the podium. Filmed at the Teatro Regio di Torino in Italy. Admission is $20 for the general public.
