You can start your tour at either location to see a few of Westchester’s most exciting private gardens. Directions to a third garden will be provided when you arrive. The third garden, in Cortlandt Manor, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets: $5 per garden, children under 12 are free.

Friday 8 p.m. Encounters: Kahane and Weilerstein

Singer-songwriter Gabriel Kahane and cellist Alisa Weilerstein meld their talents to create an evening of passionate and eclectic music. Tickets: $30 - $40.

Saturday 8 p.m. Orchestra and More

The Orchestra of St. Luke’s, with guests, violinist Jennifer Koh and cellist Alisa Weilerstein, will perform Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont, Brahms’ Concerto in A minor, Op. 102, and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 4 in A Major (The Italian Symphony). Sunday 4:30 p.m. Prizing the Pulitzer, Part II
