PEEKSKILL, NY -- If you're looking for entertainment there's plenty of things to do in Peekskill this weekend.
FRIDAY
- Stratospheerious with electric violinist Joe Deninzon will perform at 12 Grapes starting at 9:30 p.m. Cover is $10 or $5 with dinner.
- Hope Machine, an "official program" of the Woody Guthrie Foundation, will perform at BeanRunner Cafe at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5.
- Bucky Pizzarelli & Jerry Bruno will perform at The Division Street Grill for two shows at 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Admission is free for patrons.
- Tiki Daddy will perform at The Birdsall House starting at 10 p.m. Admission is free for patrons.
SATURDAY
- The Field Library's Field Notes Book Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. to discuss the novel "My Enemy's Cradle" by Sara Young.
- 12 Grapes will have a romantic evening of music featuring E'lissa Jones, a singer, prolific songwriter, violinist, pianist & guitarist. The show starts at 9:30 p.m. and admission is a $10 entertainment fee or $5 with a dinner entree.
- The Bob Meyer Project will perform a jazz set at BeanRunner Cafe at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $10.
SUNDAY
- A Valentine's Day concert and fund-raiser will be held for the 911 Remembrance Memorial at Croton Point at The Cove with Tommy Sullivan, founding member and musical director of the Brooklyn Bridge. Appetizers and a light buffet will be provided. The show starts at 3 p.m. and tickets are $35.
- Noo Moves Entertainment presents their tenth Variety Artist Appreciation Show at The BeanRunner Cafe. The show starts at 4 p.m. and tickets are $5.
- Greg Westhoff's Westchester Swing Band, a world-class 18-piece big band, will perform at 12 Grapes at 5:30 p.m. The $5 cover goes directly to the band.
