Friday, Dec. 21

Wine Tasting: 5 to 8 p.m. Stop in to sip some wine and perhaps choose some last minute Christmas gifts. It’s at Front Street Cellar in the old train station at 3 Front Street, Croton Falls.

Disco Night: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Dance the night away to the sounds of the '70s and '80s with DJ Nick. There’s no cover charge and there will be drink specials all night long. It’s at Somerfield’s, Route 100 (Somerstowne Center) in Somers.

Saturday, Dec. 22

Movies at Loews Danbury: "Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D," "Guilt Trip," "Hitchcock," "Jack Reacher," "Life Of Pi," "Lincoln" and "Monsters Inc. 3D" are some of the movies playing at the AMC Loews at 61 Eagle Road in Danbury. Click here for a full schedule.

Buy a Christmas Tree or Wreath: It's your last chance to visit The Country Farmer for a Christmas tree, wreath, poinsettia or blueberry scone before it closes for the season. The Country Farmer is at 1 Bloomer Road (corner of Route 121), North Salem.

Harvest Moon & Orchard at 130 Hardscrabble Road, North Salem, also has a large selection of Christmas trees and wreaths. It will be open on Christmas Eve until 3 p.m. and will close on Christmas Day for the remainder of the season.
