Westport Neighbors Notes

WESTPORT, Conn. — Once again, Band Together CT has created the perfect venue for a Near and Far Aid fundraiser. “One Night Band” was a concert full of energy and harmony. Laurie Lister and Lisa Zelson were this year’s co-chairs, and they did a great job of organizing everything. This year, Jeanne Burris, president of Near and Far Aid, rocked the house by going on stage herself! Congratulations to the co-chairs and to all the musicians who shared their talents. For more information on Near and Far Aid and Band Together CT, visit nearandfaraid.org and bandtogetherct.org.

Congratulations to the Aitkenhead family. We hear you are moving back to the farm! They will once again take up residence at Westport’s Wakeman Town Farm and Sustainability Center and will continue to educate our community. For more information, visit www.wakemantownfarm.org.
