WESTPORT, Conn. ? Less than a week left until school begins, and kids all over town are enjoying themselves. The skateboard park at Compo Beach is buzzing with speeding skateboarders enjoying their last week of skateboard camp. Parks & Rec camp counselor Eddie instructs the kids on safety first before they fly down the ramps. Michael, Dylan, Eddie, Sheila, Todd, Felix and Will enjoy showing off their stunts. What is summer without a good storm? Anne and Frank enjoyed the sea mist at Compo waiting with anticipation. Word on the street was there was a shortage of D batteries everywhere. Nonetheless, Westporters were stocking up on water and non-perishables.
